Chairman Deeq Abdiaziz Mohamed Participates in Zurich Marathon and Awards Somali Athlete

Chairman of the Gaashaan Party, H.E. Deeq Abdiaziz Mohamed, who is currently on an official working visit to Switzerland, participated in the Zurich regional marathon event held in the city of Zurich.

During the event, the Chairman joined thousands of participants and witnessed a strong performance from athletes competing in the marathon. Among them was Somali athlete Abdisalan Ali, who also took part in the race and represented Somalia with distinction.

At the conclusion of the event, H.E. Deeq Abdiaziz Mohamed presented an award to Abdisalan Ali in recognition of his performance and efforts in promoting Somali representation in international sports.

The Chairman praised the spirit of competition and highlighted the importance of sports in strengthening international relations, youth engagement, and national pride.

He also commended Somali athletes participating in global events, encouraging continued dedication and excellence on the international stage.
